A new foundation, the Medical Foundation of Nashville (MFN), is launched in January by Nashville Academy of Medicine to house the program operations for Project Access Nashville Specialty Care, formerly Bridges to Care Plus. Plans also begin for the 2019 expansion of increased patient access as the safety net clinics continue to have locations and serve patients beyond Davidson County.

My Health Care Home is launched in May and includes over 50 clinics across Middle Tennessee to help connect the community to accessible, affordable, quality health services.
