The Policy and Planning Council of the Consortium meets six times per year, and David Posch, with Vanderbilt University Medical Center, is elected chair of the consortium. Regular presentations are given by Dr. Gill Wright, Director of the Metro Nashville Public Health Department on opioid trends and infectious disease trends and prevention including Flu, Covid, and Monkey Pox.

Katina Beard, CEO of Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center, is awarded the Dr. Clifton Meador Health Leadership Award. She has served on the Consortium board for many years, and has worked in various roles at Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center since 1996.
