Consortium works alongside its members to address the COVID-19 crisis by providing a centralized resource center for information related to addressing the pandemic in healthcare settings and the community. The consortium launches a COVID-19 task force co-chaired by David Posch, Brian Haile, and Morgan Wills, MD, to address the growing needs of the pandemic and to partner with MPHD and TDH to address vaccine availability and hesitancy. Listening sessions are also held with community leaders.
A Mental Health Disparities task force, co-chaired by Jenn Block and Tom Starling, is formed to address the growing public health crisis of mental health. Key steps are taken to compile and develop resources, with key focuses on culturally and linguistically sensitive materials and resources, for community members across the region.
