The consortium expanded to include all dental care, mental health care, and substance abuse care safety net providers. The Consortium received a $1 million grant from HRSA, which was matched with $1 Million from Saint Thomas Health, to enroll and assist the uninsured population of Davidson County via a program called Bridges to Care (BTC). The funding was awarded from HRSA to MPHD for use of the funds in creating the BTC program on behalf of the Consortium.
